OVERVIEW:
The FC Copa Pre-Academy is a program for boys and girls birth years 2012-2009, offering an exciting opportunity which will focus on their soccer development via a positive competitive environment and the spirit of teamwork. The season will run in the Fall, Winter and Spring.  The Fall and Spring will run for 10 weeks with two training sessions a week. The Winter season will run for 6 weeks, 1 session a week.  Days and Times for the Fall 2018 sessions are indicated below for both FC Copa Academy South and North respectively. Players will have to order a training kit separate from the season tuition. Information for the training kit will be sent after the player has been registered for the season. Teams will play in scrimmages throughout the season which will be set up and communicated by the Academy Coach. The FC Copa Academy will focus primarily on training and the technical development of the player in a team environment.

INTRODUCTION:

The Pre-Academy Program will be the next step in the FC Copa Academy ladder of progression. The Program gives the players, at an early age, an opportunity to learn the technique, soccer coordination and movement in the precise and correct way.  Playing in a small sided environment will give the players more time and touches with the ball while also learning to work with teammates.  FC Copa Pre-Academy selections will consist of an evaluation process designed to identify players displaying a potential for future placement on an FC Copa Academy team.
