Tyler Lee brings more than 18 years of experience as both a player and coach to FC Copa Academy, with a player-centered, development-first approach focused on technical quality, competitive mentality, and confidence under pressure.

 

Lee’s coaching experience spans youth, high school, and collegiate environments, giving him a broad understanding of player development across different stages of the game. He has also worked within the high-standard environment of Atlético Madrid US Camps, gaining experience with an international approach to player development.

Prior to joining FC Copa, Lee served as a Head Coach at NLSA Surf, where he worked with young players in a competitive development environment. His approach emphasizes challenging players to improve every day while providing individualized support and creating an environment where athletes can grow in both ability and confidence.

Lee is particularly focused on developing intelligent, confident players who can make decisions under pressure and compete with purpose. He believes in combining strong technical foundations with a competitive mentality while keeping each player's long-term development pathway in mind.
