Coach Emeka is a New Jersey-based soccer coach and FC Copa Academy alum whose coaching philosophy is rooted in his own playing career.

Okoye played for FC Copa Academy before going on to play for Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC), earning Second Team All-Conference and Third Team All-Region honors with 11 goals and 7 assists. He later played full-time for the i2i International Soccer Academy in York, England, a program pairing elite, UEFA-coached training with university study, where he appeared in 27 games as a center midfielder/forward, scoring 6 goals with 2 assists.

On the coaching side, Okoye got his start with Premier German Soccer before returning to New Jersey to coach at multiple levels of the game. He currently coaches at Raritan Valley Community College, where he helped guide the men's program to a District B Championship, and at Somerville High School, and now, he's back where his own playing career started, coaching at FC Copa Academy.

Across these roles, Okoye designs and leads technical and tactical training sessions focused on player growth, performance development, teamwork, and discipline, while providing individualized mentorship to support athletes' confidence, decision-making, and long-term development.
