We are very excited to announce the details of this year’s FC Copa Futsal Academy for the upcoming 2022-23 Winter season. 

 

FC Copa Academy has long played a central role in the growth of Futsal in NJ and NY since its founding in 2004 and has boasted some impressive results over its history, through the development of players.  In prior seasons we have crowned 14 state champions, 9 regional champions, 15 state finalists, and 4 regional finalists! Please find the complete list of placements on our Futsal Academy Page from the last three years' Futsal State and Regional Tournaments.  Additionally we have had players who have worn the Copa Futsal jersey be selected to the Mens and Womens US National Futsal Team. 

 

Futsal has continuously helped shape FC Copa players’ technical proficiency, tactical understanding in small group settings, decision making in a fast paced environment, and ability to make timely key adjustments throughout the course of a game. The FC Copa Futsal Academy staff is well versed and experienced in teaching the game via a well established curriculum that has developed hundreds of players through the years.

PROGRAM DETAILS

REGISTER before: Oct 26, 2022

 

REGISTRATION PROCESS:

• Deposit due by October 26th

• 1st Installment due by November 9th

• 2nd Installment due by November 23rd

 

SELECTIONS: 

Team selections will be made and communicated by November 11th.  Futsal teams will consist of 7-9 players, players NOT selected will receive a full refund or be eligible to continue as a training only player.  Once player selections have been made, players will get an offer for the team that they have been placed on. Additionally, our Futsal Directors and coaches will communicate selections for the Futsal Regional Teams prior to December 20th. 

 

• Training Only:

Program cost is $300. This includes 8-10 futsal training sessions, court time & coaching

 

• Training + Competition:

Program cost is $350. This includes 8-10 futsal training sessions and 2-3 futsal events 

Futsal events consist of 3 guaranteed games + semis & finals

 

• Regional Teams: (ADDITIONAL)

Program cost is $125.  This is by selection ONLY. 

Players from all of our locations (New Jersey & Brooklyn) will be eligible for an opportunity. 

Futsal Staff members & Directors will select players who have registered for the Training + Competition Program. 

This includes Top Level Competition at a Weekend Event being held in Atlantic City, NJ. 

U.S. FUTSAL NORTHEAST REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP 2023

 

TRAINING LOCATIONS:

• New Jersey - Metuchen, Piscataway & Hillsborough, NJ

• Brooklyn, NY - Aviator Sports & Event Center, 3159 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn, NY

 

TRAINING DATES:

• Each team will train for one hour per week at an indoor facility, which will be announced and assigned upon the formation of the teams. There will be eight to ten training sessions in total per team. Teams will train on a weekday (TeamSnap).

 

PROGRAM DATES:

• December 2022 - February 2023

• Starting the week of December 5th and going to February 20th

 

PROGRAM COMPETITIONS: 

• Futsal One Day Tournaments (Weekends January & February) 

  • New Jersey - Jan 28th, Feb 11th & Feb 18th *UPDATED*

  • Brooklyn, NY - One Day Tournament Dates TBA

• US Futsal Northeast Regional Championships (February 18th - 21st, 2022) 

 

FUTSAL UNIFORM: 

• Uniform items will be purchased through our uniform provider SoccerZoneUSA 

• All players will be required to purchase (2) Futsal Jerseys (Dark & Light)

  • $12 each - Log in to SoccerZoneUSA - Find your name - Order!

• Uniform orders must be placed by November 13th

• All players will be required to wear Black shorts and Black socks (Adidas)

  • FC Copa Academy players can wear their Copa Shorts and socks

  • NEW players have the option to purchase from SoccerZoneUSA
