New Jersey Copa FC (NJCFC) is a semi-professional soccer franchise that competes in the USL League Two and the United Women’s Soccer League (UWS).
On the women’s side, NJ Copa FC won the Eastern Conference Title in the UWS’s inaugural season, and made it to the National Final before they fell 1-0 to the Western Conference Champion Santa Clarita. Krystyna Freda was named UWS Player of the Year, and was invited to train with top-tier NWSL’s Western New York Flash. Two players were First Team All-UWS, while two additional players were Honorable Mentions. Coach Roberto Aguas was awarded Coach Of The Year.
NJ Copa FC is looking for motivated interns who are interested in gaining experience with one of the top soccer organizations in the country. The roles translate well to other sports organizations and anyone interested in a career involving sports management, marketing, and organizational growth and development will gain valuable experience. MARKETING INTERN
Skills Required

Description:
The Marketing Intern will help oversee and manage all marketing campaigns for NJ Copa FC, which includes campaigns involving social media, email, sponsorship decks, flyers and more. This position will report directly to the Assistant Manager of Marketing & Communications.

Description:
The Community Relations Intern will help manage all community-based events. He or she will assist in all game-day happenings and fan development initiatives. This position will report directly to the Assistant Manager of Marketing & Communications.

SALES INTERN

Description:
The Sales & Ticketing Intern is responsible for directly assisting the General Manager in all aspects of ticketing. This will include selling season ticket passes, family plans, and single game tickets. He or she must be available to work in the box office every game day, and to assist customers in troubleshooting ticketing issues.This position will report directly to the General Manager of NJCFC.

COMMUNICATIONS INTERN

Description:
The Communications Intern will have opportunities to assist with production of multimedia content for fccopa.com – pitch content ideas, conduct interviews with NJ Copa FC players and coaches, and write features. The Communication Intern will also help oversee the team’s social media efforts and help manage the NJ Copa FC social media platforms. This position will report directly to the Assistant Manager of Marketing & Communications.

VIDEOGRAPHY INTERN
Skills Required

- Ability to receive instructions, then process, comprehend and implement instructions immediately
- Ability to be assertive in getting necessary shots while blending into the background at the same time
Ideal Majors: Graphic Design, Film or Marketing Major

- Must be familiar in shooting video using professional equipment
- Editing experience using Final Cut Pro or comparable software
Description:
The Videography Intern will assist in creating video content for a professional soccer team and gain valuable experience in all areas of production including filming and editing. This internship is ideal for an individual seeking a career in sports video production. This position will report directly to the Assistant Manager of Marketing & Communications.

EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT

Description:
The Equipment Management Intern will be in charge of all gear and inventory for NJCFC. He or she will be expected to attend all game-days. This position will report directly to the General Manager of NJCFC.

Description:
The Operations and Event Management Intern is responsible for assisting the operations department on all aspects related to game day operations. This includes but not limited to: game week preparation, in game ceremonies, various other duties throughout game day, post game cleanup and various other tasks. This position will report directly to the General Manager of NJCFC.

Description:
The Sports Analytics Intern is responsible for maintaining all statistics for practices and games. This position requires significant soccer knowledge, as he or she will be attending all home games and will be expected to process all statistics in a live-setting. This position will report directly to the General Manager of NJCFC.

INTERN

Description:
The Social Media Intern will create and manage content for the NJ Copa FC FC Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts. He or she must be available to assist at all home games and community events. This position will report directly to the Assistant Manager of Marketing & Communications.
