Marketing Partnership Internship
Term: March-August, 2021
Description: The New Jersey Copa FC Marketing Partnership Internship provides college credit or community service hours opportunities to Men and Women seeking to gain valuable experience and mentorship through meaningful responsibilities in the day-to-day operation of the Club. The position will give participants in-depth experience in; managing partner relations, executing partner events, game day activation, stadium signage, and promotion. FC Copa seeks applicants who bring exceptional communication skills, a positive approach to all tasks, creativity, and a strong work ethic.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Commit to virtual meetings throughout the workweek.

Attend all New Jersey Copa FC Home Matches at Saint Joseph High School in Metuchen, NJ scheduled in May, June, July.

Execute set up and break down logistics of game day

Participate in weekly post-event & pre-event virtual planning meetings with the game day staff

Support campaigns, strategies and use of social media to drive leverage partner relationships

Execute game day sponsor activation and social campaigns

Confirm stadium partner signage

Assist with the creation of pitch decks and identify sales opportunities

Agree to FC Copa COVID precautions policies (including but not limited to wearing with a mask at events and regular testing conducted by FC Copa)
Commitment and Requirements:

Proficiency is google G-suite (Gmail, docs, sheets, slides)

Understanding of the sport of soccer is preferred but not required

Strong attention to detail

Effective communicator

Commitment to developing unique strategies

College credit available if applicable

Community Service Hours tracked and recognized if applicable

New Jersey Copa FC matchday apparel provided

Candidates receive onboarding instruction, goal setting and personalized evaluation at the end of the commitment period

Candidates are expected to use a personal vehicle to events (other than away games).
