An eventful weekend for our 2006 Girls Age group as both teams participated in the FC Delco Showcase in Pennsylvania.
Our 2006G Black team went undefeated this past weekend, while coming in as runners up on goal difference. Finishing the weekend with no goals conceded and dominating in the attack with 7 goals in three games. A very positive weekend from our girls as they transition back from high school soccer.
Led by Coach Roberto & Lori, they had a few things to say regarding the weekend:
“For the first weekend back on the field together the ladies performed above our expectations. We created a number of opportunities throughout the three games while controlling the possession, which reflects our style of play. Additionally, it is always positive to walk away from the weekend conceding no goals. We will look to build off this momentum and bring this same energy into our next games”.
Our 2006 Gray also went undefeated and won their bracket in convincing fashion this past weekend. The girls scored a combined 17 goals in three games To add to that, they did not concede a single goal in the process
Led by Coach Massimo, here is a few things he had to say about the weekend:
“It was good to have the girls back from high school and playing together. We showed a lot of positive moments in each of the games that we will look to use as we prepare for our next games.”
