We are very excited to share that our 2013B Gray NJ Central team finished their Jefferson Cup weekend in Richmond, Virginia, as champions! With a dominant tournament run, the boys finished 3-1, scoring an impressive 14 goals while conceding just 4 all weekend. This achievement highlights the team’s commitment to improving every part of their game as they prepare for the next level.
The boys kicked off the weekend in commanding fashion on Saturday morning with a 3-0 shutout, setting the tone immediately. They carried that momentum into their second match, where they netted five goals in an exciting 5-2 victory, putting them in a great position heading into the final day of the showcase.
Day two brought tougher challenges, but the team remained composed under pressure. A hard-fought 2-1 loss showcased the high level of competition, but it did little to shake their confidence.
