New Jersey Copa FC vs FA Euro NY

The second home game for the New Jersey Copa FC USL League Two team commences on Wednesday, June 1st against FA Euro NY.
This will be the fifth match of the 2022 season for the USL team, and the first time they face off against FA Euro NY in the season. Currently the team upholds a 1-1-2 record in the Metropolitan Division.
The last game played by New Jersey Copa FC was against the Long Island Rough Riders, to which they lost 3-1 on Sunday, June 5th. New Jersey Copa FC held strong for two halves and overtime, however could not pull forward.
When asked about the team’s direction after the loss, Head Coach Fernando Barboto responded, “We’re keeping our heads up. We faced off against a good team, one that had a better outcome than we expected, but we’re going to take the loss and use it as a stepping stone to further improve for our next game.”
Barboto’s team is looking to even out their record with Wednesday’s win, which could potentially bump the team into the top 4 within the Metropolitan Division.
FA Euro NY currently holds the same record as New Jersey FC, as the former takes 7th in the division and the latter takes the 6th spot. With both teams neck and neck, Wednesday’s game will surely define which team takes precedence over the other.
New Jersey Copa FC plays their next game on Monday, June 13, 2022 on the road against the FC Motown STA. The game will take place on the soccer field at Drew University Mitchel at 8:00pm.
With Copa’s potential to move up within USL League Two, the team is looking for a supportive turnout of fans.
