FC Copa Academy Tops 3 Brackets at EDP Fall Cup Showcase!

It was a great weekend at the EDP Fall Cup Showcase for FC Copa Academy as our teams hit the field and left with three teams leading their brackets. The B2007 Gray Rutgers, B2006 Black Flemington, and B2007 Black Rutgers teams all showcased not only talent but a true spirit of determination and teamwork.

Congratulations to our B2007 Gray Rutgers team for taking the top spot in their EDP Cup Fall Showcase bracket! They led the group with 3 straight wins that placed them 3 points ahead than anyone else in the group!

Coach Roberto had this to say after the successful weekend:

"B2007 Gray played in the top bracket at the EDP Cup Fall Showcase and competed against top teams including ECNL programs. It is clear to see the progress we made this past year and we are happy for the boys and the team for the success at this showcase and as we get their junior year started."

Congratulations to our B2006 Gray Flemington team for fantastic performance in their EDP Cup Fall Showcase bracket! Netting an impressive 10 goals while allowing just 3 in return. Leading the effort were the likes of Alex Hain with 4 goals and Simon Failla who assisted 3 goals!

"This group is very well built on strong relationships, and an unwavering commitment to every game. This weekend they showed nothing less, and gave themselves an important kick start to a season where we are looking to grow this team into a real powerhouse. I’m proud of the boys relentless drive as they put on a show for parents and college coaches alike. “
