Boys 01/02 Black | 1-1-1 | THIRD PLACE FINISH
In their first ever appearance at the Disney Showcase, the Boys 01/02 Black team finished second in their group and placed third overall. After losing their first game to eventual champions West Texas Rush Sharks, Coach Billy and his team responded well by posting a convincing 5-0 shutout in their second game. In their final game of group play, the boys earned a 2-2 draw and secured themselves a spot in a placement game. The B01/02 closed out the tournament and the year with a 3-0 win and placement in the top bracket at Disney.
Coach Billy Englishby had this to say about his teams performance, “I am happy for the group as they are enjoying working for one another. Good for the group to win a placement game in the top bracket at the Disney Showcase particularly with it being the groups first experience here.”
