FC COPA ACADEMY ALUMNI SUCCESS - 2018 SEASON

FC Copa Academy would like to announce their alumni success for the 2018 college season. Below we have provided our alumni from the years of 2015-2018 (Seniors to Freshman) and their accomplishments from this past season. Congratulations to all our alumni on their successes.


Freshmen - Class of 2018


Emma Bedell | Gettysburg College - 17 games played - 16 starts - 1 goal 3 assists

Mary Bystrycki | Kean University - 14 starts in 15 games played as a freshman - 5 clean sheets and a NJAC Semi Final Placement

Joshua Cagan | Franklin & Marshall College - Played in 12 games as a freshman and recorded 2 assists. His team made the Conference Final & the NCAA 2nd Round

Nicole Cassano | William Patterson - Made 12 appearances in her freshman year scoring one goal.

Christina Cernuto | University of Albany - Played in 18 games as a freshman and recorded 2 goals and 1 assist. She also helped her team to a Conference Championship and a NCAA Tournament Berth.

Gabrielle Cipriano | Haverford College - 10 games played in her freshman year with a goal and a assist.

Jada Colbert | University at Albany - 23 games played 20 starts with 3 goals and 3 assists. She also helped her team to a Conference Championship and a NCAA Tournament Berth.

Jasmine Colbert | University at Albany - 23 games played 19 starts with 4 goals and 3 assists as a freshman. She also helped her team to a Conference Championship and a NCAA Tournament Berth.

Isabella DiFalco | Kean University - 7 games played as a freshman - made the NJAC Semi Finals

Alessandra DiStefano | Philadelphia University - 14 games played with 4 goals and 2 assists.

Zach Ferchak | Wentworth Institute of Technology - 9 games played with 7 starts in his freshman year.

Michael Gianino | LIU Brooklyn - 13 games played with 1 goal scored. Helped his team to a NEC Championship and a NCAA Berth.

Charlotte Glancey | Dickinson College - 19 games played with 19 starts with 3 goals and 2 assists in her freshman year.

Drew Haught | DeSales University - 13 games played with 6 starts and a goal in his freshman year.

Emma Lombardo | Bates College - 14 games played with a goal scored in her freshman season.

Lauren Mazich | High Point University - 13 games played with an assist in her freshman season.

Caroline McCaffery | University of Scranton - Played in 13 games in her freshman year and helped her team to a Conference Championship and a NCAA Tournament Berth.

Liam McGregor | Monmouth University - Played in 8 games and made 3 starts as a freshman.

Aytana Muschajew | Fairfield University - 17 games played and 17 games starts as a freshman with 4 clean sheets.

Michael Neff | Monmouth University - Played in 10 games and made 3 starts for Monmouth in his freshman year.

Sam Persaud | William Paterson - Played in 10 games as a freshman and scored 2 goals

Matthew Pinho | Stevens Institute - Played in 7 games and scored 2 goals. Helped his team to a Conference Championship and a NCAA 2nd Round Berth.

Kat Rebele | Case Western Reserve University - Played in 17 games with 15 starts in her freshman season.

Adam Silva | Stevens Institute - 21 games played with 17 starts in his freshman year. He scored 7 goals and recorded 7 assists which helped his team to a Conference Championship and a NCAA 2nd Round Berth.

Paul Silva | Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute - 19 games played with 5 starts. He scored a goal and recorded an assist. Amanda Lebelt | Centenary College - Earned All-CSAC Honorable Mention and played 21 games and started 18. She helped her school to a conference championship and a NCAA Tournament Berth. Amanda recorded 5 goals and 6 assists this season.


Sophomores - Class of 2017


Max Antisell | Mount Saint Mary College - 20 games played and 20 starts with 2 assists.

Jenny Callaghan | NJIT - 18 games played with 17 games started. Jenny scored 3 goals and 1 assist.

Sydney Cummings | Brown University - 17 games 17 games started 2 goals

Melanie Cunha | St. Joseph University - 7 games played in her sophomore year.

Hannah Daley | Vassar College - 18 games 4 games started 1 assist

Barbara Ferreira | Union County College - Started all 17 games 7 goals and 7 assists

Ayana Garvin | Hampton University - Started in 14 games and recorded 1 assist.

Sophia Gomez | Albright College - 18 games played started in 5 games in her sophomore year.

Niamh Harkins | Wilkes University - Started in all 18 games for Wilkes.

Andrea Leitner | University of Albany - 22 games played and started with 7 clean sheets. She also helped her team to a Conference Championship and a NCAA Tournament Berth.

Nicole Loehle | NJIT - Started in all 17 games scored 2 goals

Rory McQuillan | Menlo College - Appeared in 8 matches of the bench

Mackenzie Meixner | Iona College - Started in 15 games of the 16 games she played, while scoring 1 goal

Hannah Merlo | Muhlenberg - Started in 14 games while scoring 1 goal.

Adam Ned | Occidental College - Played in 15 games while scoring 2 goals.

Katarina Nilsson | Northeastern University - Played in 13 games and scored 3 goals.

Katrina Nguyen-Demary | NJIT - Started in 17 games of the 18 she played, scored 1 goal and had 5 assists.

Antonio Oliveira | Drew University - Played in 17 games while scoring 1 goal and providing 2 assists - ECAC champions

Christina Rodgers | Providence College - Started in 12 games of the 18 played.

Mihalia Sarris | Stockton University - Played in 6 games this season.

Erin Vander Plaat | Arcadia University - Played in 20 games, including 17 starts … Was second on the team with six goals and 12 point

Ryan Perlee | Drew University - played in 6 games. ECAC champions

Erin Wimmer | Georgian Court University - Started in 15 games out of the 16 games played. Score 1 goal which was a game winner.

Alexis Williams | George Washington - Started all 7 games that she played in, scored 4 goals (2 game winners) and provided 1 assist.

Juniors - Class of 2016


Jordan Cimring | Muhlenberg College - 13 games played with 9 starts and a goal scored

Zachary Cimring | Muhlenberg College - 16 games played with 16 starts in his Junior season.

Jimmy Evangelos | Gettysburg College - 17 games played with 17 starts in the midfield for Gettysburg.

Jackie Fahrenholz | McDaniel College - 20 games played will 11 starts and netted a goal in her junior season.

Caitlin Gugliotta | Dickinson College - 11 games played with 2 goals and 2 assists.

Taylor Hueston | Rutgers Camden - 16 games played with 9 games started. 2 goals scored and 2 assists.

Lauren Jurcsek | Kean University - 13 games played with 2 starts. She helped Kean to the NJAC Semi Finals.

Christine Mayorga | Montclair State - 15 games played with a goal and a assist.

Brandon Pirog | Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute - Started all 19 games in his Junior year with a 1 goal and a 1 assist.

Brett Rojas | Tufts University - 19 games played with 15 starts. 2 goals scored and 9 assists. Brett helped his team win their Conference and the NCAA DIII Tournament.

Achim Younker | Johns Hopkins University - 13 games started with 4 goals and 5 assists.


Seniors - Class of 2015


Sunna Baig | Rutgers University Newark - 17 Games played and started - 1372 minutes. Joshua Barkoff | Boston University - 17 Games played and started, backline that helped BU qualify for its fifth straight Patriot League Tournament. All-Conference second team. Second on the team in minutes played 1,547. Helped keep BU to 4 clean sheets. PL Defensive Player of the Week in September. Reiss Berger | Haverford College - Games played 19 and started all 19. Member of a defense that posted 7 shutouts. Centennial Conference Champions. NCAA Tournament first round loss. Kyle Dennis | Rowan University - Games played 19 and started 19. Goals against 20, GA Average 1.07, Saves 59, Save % 0.747, Shutouts 5. NJAC Tournament appearance. Brielle Errico | Widener University - Games played 19 and started 12. Goals 6, assists 3, Game winners 4. MAC Commonwealth appearance and ECAC Div 3 appearance. Kevin Irving | Muhlenberg College - Games played 17 and started 17. Goals 2, assists 6. Nicholas John | Haverford College - Games played 19 and started 19. Goals 1, assists 2. 1 of 7 players who appeared in all 19 matches. Member of a backline who recorded 7 shutouts. Centennial Conference Champions. NCAA Tournament first round loss. Michaela Knoblock | Montclair State University - Games played 18 and started 16. Goals 2, assists 8, game winners 2. NJAC tournament semifinalist. Conner Mieth | Tufts University - Games played 21 and started 21. Goals against 13, GA Average 0.52, Saves 56, Saves % .836 and shutouts 9. NCAA Div 3 Champions. Jake Nabbie | Catholic University - Games played 18 and started 15. Scored 2 goals and 2 assists. Mike Prosuk | Ohio State University - Started in all 18 matches with 1,452 minutes played with one goal and two points, led the Buckeyes with 37 shots, including 12 on target. Billy Rodgers | McDaniel College - Played in 10 games while scoring 2 goals and 2 assists. Xander Saling | Loyola University Maryland - Played in 12 games at forward for Loyola. Dalen Thompson | Goucher College - Started in 3 games of the 11 games played, helped the team with 1 goal and 3 assists.
