On Tuesday, April 17, Lori Berman, VP and Director of Academic Guidance at FC Copa Academy, was invited by the Troop leaders to visit Campbell school in Metuchen, NJ to meet with Brownie Troop 80007, a fun and intelligent group of second and third grade girls! It was a great hour spent together discussing and sharing how we, as young women, grow to find our passion, overcome obstacles in life and be ourselves! Whether it is through sports, music, art, etc.. we want to grow the self confidence of our young women by helping them understand how to be strong, find what brings them happiness and have the courage to be themselves! We spoke about how life can present hurdles and that we want to push through, be positive and look at these times as opportunities to grow! We then “jumped over hurdles” as a physical demonstration of what we can accomplish as strong young women! The girls were excited to participate in this fun exercise and we know they will continue to grow as terrific young ladies!
