BOYS TEAMS

07 Boys EDP W 4-0 vs Next Level

Coach Angelo Jack

Proud Supporter of BAYERN MUNICH

It was a great weekend with the boys finally coming together playing as a team and working hard for one another on both sides of the ball. The boys are very competitive so they gave their all throughout the full 60 minutes of play. I have to say I’m very happy with their performance and how well they are progressing as a team. With teamwork everyone reaps the rewards!

07 Boys Pre-NL W 3-2 vs CSA Bergen NJYS STATE CUP

Coach Andrew Santos

Proud Supporter of MANCHESTER UNITED

It was a great night of football from both teams. A very competitive and entertaining match to watch and be apart of. The team was able to play at a good level, put in solid individual performances which translated to a team result. We are looking forward to our next match to build off this one.

06 Boys NL W 2-1 vs Princeton SA

It's great to advance to the State Cup Quarter Finals with a good performance from the boy’s - The group is growing as a team and in their understanding of the game in the new 11v11 format. Another step in the right direction but many more to come.

05 Boys EDP L 2-4 vs Jersey Crew

Coach Yazo

Proud Supporter of REAL MADRID

Quality play from the boys, happy to see that points we covered in training were being implemented in the game. We learned the hard way that we need to limit our mistakes to get the result we want. Overall, pleased to see the team coming together and the support they are showing for one another.

05 Boys NL L 0-8 vs Princeton SA

Coach Raphael Araujo

Proud Supporter of REAL MADRID

Boys had some good moments in the game but struggled to deal with the opponent’s physicality and speed. Lots of injuries during the game that set us back as well.

05 Boys NL L 0-4 vs STA NJYS STATE CUP

Coach Raphael Araujo

The boys displayed a great style of soccer throughout this game. We did a great job building up play from the defensive third into the attacking third but we got some work to do in the attacking third. Opponents capitalized off some mistakes from our end, we need to remain focused throughout games in order to avoid making mistakes.

GIRLS TEAMS

08 Girls Pre-NL L 0-8 vs NJ Rush

Coach Alexandra Tinfow

07 Girls Pre-NL L 0-4 vs Chatham

Coach Steve Lengen

Proud Supporter of CHELSEA

The girls competed well, and our goalkeeper was fantastic keeping it 0-0 and having some chances throughout the first half and into the start of the second. We had a short lapse of focus midway through the second half, and to our opponents’ credit, they capitalized, but the girls corrected and finished the game with dignity despite the scoreline.

07 Girls Pre-NL W 1-0 vs Monroe SC NJYS STATE CUP

Coach Steve Lengen

Proud Supporter of CHELSEA

Going into this game, we discussed good defensive pressure, high work rate, and looking to connect passes. The players gave a great effort, and were rewarded winning the ball back in good areas, and ultimately found the winner off a well earned set piece, and then continued a stingy defensive effort to maintain the clean sheet. Once again, our goalkeeper played very well, making some key saves throughout the game.

06 Girls NL W 1-0 vs NJ Elite NJYS STATE CUP

Coach Matty Berman

Proud Supporter of REAL MADRID

FC Copa G06 defeated NJ Elite in NJYS State Cup 1-0. It is always great to earn a shutout, especially in such a high intensity match. The girls left everything on the field, and played selflessly in different positions in order to stifle the opposition and earn a result.
