The Copa girls were able to participate in history, walking out with the US Women’s National Team to celebrate their 4th World Cup victory - a moment these young Copa players will never forget. The girls walked out with the likes of Lindsey Horan, Rose Lavelle, Allie Long, Julie Ertz, Morgan Brian, Adrianna Franch, Abby Dahlkemper, Becky Sauerbrunn, Emily Sonnett, Kelley O’Hara, Tierna Davidson, Ali Kreiger, Crystal Dunn, and Christen Press.
After such an inspiring moment, the girls’ lives got even more exciting when they found out they would be recorded the following day for a CBS news report!
The news report focused on the girls’ experience of walking out with the players and what it meant to them. After preparing at the Copa office, the girls went to St. Joseph’s turf field where they were recorded playing soccer. Several of the girls were also interviewed on their experience the previous day. The news report will air tonight, July 11th on CBS.
