“Going into our third year of existence, the expectations are higher than ever,” explained Head Coach Roberto Aguas. “We’ve achieved an impressive number of successes on both the Men’s & Women’s side, with finishes as 2016 UWS National Finalists, 2016 NPSL Regional Finalists, and 2017 UWS & NPSL Regular Season and Conference Champions. We have all the building blocks in place to have another fantastic year, and we can’t wait to get started.”

In the 2017 offseason on both the Men’s & the Women’s side, New Jersey Copa FC & the Elite Collegiate Program has seen two players earn prestigious All-American Honors - Jeanine Nunez playing for Adelphi University, and Achim Younker playing for Johns Hopkins University. In addition to the accolades from the collegiate players, six more members of NJCFC who have already graduated signed professional contracts in the off-season: 2016 UWS Player of the Year Krystyna Freda to Barcelona FA in Cyprus, Jenny Bitzer to Durham FC in England, Kristen Shea and Rebecca Raber to FF Lugano in Switzerland, Phoenetia Browne to UMF Sindri in Iceland (where she was joined by Bitzer for five weeks leading up to Durham’s season) and Matt Perrella to the USL-side Pittsburgh Riverhounds.
