NEW JERSEY COPA FC WOMENS PREPARE FOR THE LAST GAME OF THE YEAR
METUCHEN, NJ - This Saturday on July 14th NJCFC Women's team face off NY Surf at SUNY Maritime at 1:30PM. Earlier this season NJCFC and NY Surf battled it out in a game that ended with a 1-1 tie score with 5 minutes left on the clock due to inclement weather. With a final result that was out of their control, NJCFC looks forward to the opportunity to finish what they started against NY Surf.
The New Jersey FC Women’s look to improve their overall record from (W-L-D) 3-5-1 to 4-5-1. Jeanine Nunez is coming off a brace last week and looking to add to her season total. This young talented team will wrap up their 2018 season this weekend looking to build towards the next.
Coach Roberto Aguas commented on the final match of the season saying “This year has not gone the way we planned for it to go, some unlucky moments, tough results but overall I believe it was a great experience for the group. The veterans of the team who have been on this journey since day one have shown great will to lead this young team this year. We are confident that this season will help us build towards the next and we look forward to wrapping up the year on a good note.”
