NJ COPA FC MEN READY UP FOR BIG TEST THIS WEEKEND AGAINST WEST CHESTER UNITED SOCCER CLUB

METUCHEN, NJ - After a tough loss to FC Motown last weekend, the NJCFC Men are looking for a win to get them back on track. However, nothing in the NPSL is as simple as it sounds. The men will be facing one of the conference’s top teams in West Chester United Soccer Club. On Saturday, June 9th at 7pm the Men will defend their home turf of Mercer County Community College in what will be one of, if not the toughest test yet of the season.

West Chester United is has been off to a great start in their season. One aspect of their team that stands above the rest is their defense. West Chester United has recorded only a single goal against them this season. NJ COPA FC has one of the best attacks in the conference so having players such as Rapha Araujo and Kevin Veliz go up against this tough West Chester United defense will be a spectacle.

When asked about West Chester United, Head Coach Billy Englishby stated, “We are looking forward to another opportunity to test ourselves against a quality opponent this weekend as we take on an undefeated Westchester team. Training has been especially good this week with a number of players standing out making the selection process difficult for us as coaches. These are good problems to have. This is going to be a hard fought match and I’m looking forward to see how the team responds to a strong West Chester side.”

Despite the tough test ahead, the Men are confident that they can break through this seemingly impenetrable defense. By playing their brand of soccer and sticking to the game plan the things the Men can do are nothing short of amazing.
