NJ Copa FC's Jan Hoffelner has been named the C-USA Golden Glove Award for leading the league with six of his 10 total shutouts coming against conference opponents.
Hoffelner allowed just four goals in 13 games for a goals-against average of 0.28, and his 29 total saves produced a 0.879 save percentage. He lost only one match in a Kentucky uniform since coming from St. John's, where he was named a BIG EAST Co-Goalkeeper of the Year in 2019. He was named C-USA Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 26.
To add to that, Jan clocked in a total of 1255 minutes in the blue uniform. Jan becomes just the program's third Golden Glove Award winner since the honor was first created in 2014.
We want to congratulate Jan for this fantastic achievement and continue to support him in his career.
