Our FC Copa Academy team is only weeks away from heading to San Sebastian, Spain, to compete in the prestigious Donosti Cup from June 28th to July 8th. This incredible overseas experience, provided by GENERATION Adidas International, promises unforgettable moments for both players and their families, filled with competitive matches, beautiful tourist attractions, and interactions with one of Europe's greatest football teams, Real Madrid CF!

The Donosti Cup annually hosts over 600 teams from more than 20 countries in the scenic city of San Sebastian, located on the northern coast of Spain. Known for having one of the world's most beautiful bays, San Sebastian offers a variety of off-pitch activities, including a spectacular opening ceremony with fireworks, fan zone events, and live music parties. If all goes well, our boys might even be featured on live Spanish TV!

The itinerary for players and families is packed with exciting experiences. The team will enjoy a guided tour of Madrid, Spain's historic capital, and take a day trip to Biarritz, an elegant seaside town on Southwestern France's Basque Coast. Additionally, they will have time to explore the beaches and sights of San Sebastian.

Beyond tourist activities, the team will gain valuable experience and inspiration from a stadium tour of Real Madrid CF’s Santiago Bernabéu. They will also play a friendly preparation match with a local Spanish team and participate in a training session with Real Madrid CF! The week at the Donosti Cup promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

This incredible opportunity is made possible by GENERATION Adidas International, a joint venture between MLS and U.S. Soccer aimed at elevating young professional soccer talent in the U.S. Their expertise with top American soccer academies and logistical proficiency ensures a high-quality and smooth trip for our academy players.

The Academy wishes the team best of luck at the Donosti Cup! We are confident this trip will be a milestone in the development of our players, offering them both competitive challenges and cultural enrichment.
