"I have been playing at Fc Copa since I was in the 5th grade all the way until the collegiate level because of my strong trust and relationship with my coaches and the healthy environment. Fc Copa helped me a lot during my recruiting progress as they helped me find a bunch of schools that they saw fit me the most. Coach Lori helped me a lot with my commitment to the University of Scranton since she is an alumni and she believed the smaller school setting and closer location would be best for me! I definitely do not regret my decision committing at Scranton and I am very grateful for Coach Lori’s help and input. I am also grateful for Coach Roberto as he heavily helped improve my soccer performance, confidence and fitness wise, to be ready to play at the collegiate level! I miss my coaches and my teammates so much and will forever be grateful for being a part of the FC Copa family!!" - Jessica Moukazis
"COPA has treated us like family. Jess started at COPA in 5th grade and COPA welcomed and made us feel at home immediately. With respect to the recruitment process, everything was clearly outlined and transparent on what was needed. Coach Lori was extremely pivotal in helping Jess navigate through the process by making phone calls to coaches and ultimately pointed Jess in the right direction to where she is today. We are eternally grateful for everything COPA has done for our family." - Stephanie Moukazis (Mother)

"FC Copa Academy and the directors supported me by not just giving me the information on what to do, but also talking to me on a personal level and asking me what I want in a college and what I'm looking for. I had Coaches and directors sit with me and talk me through the process so I knew what to look for and what to stay away from. Not only athletically but also academically. Everybody at FC Copa made sure I was passing my classes and also pushing me to make honor roll. Always reminding me that I am a student athlete, and being a student always comes first. They also made sure I knew what to expect at the next level. They gave me tips on not only how to get by, but how to succeed. The FC Copa coaches and directors made my searching process way easier and it led to me committing to the college that I feel is my best fit academically and athletically." - Nicholas Clarke
"I would say that as a parent, the Copa college night was the most instrumental thing in dealing with the recruitment process. It showed us the realities of college soccer. Copa college night also stressed, making sure the school we picked was an academic fit as well as an athletic fit. This greatly influenced our decision. As well as checking the school history of recruitment. Did they recruit other players with similar profiles as our son. Plus, whenever we had questions or concerns, we were able to reach out to Lori, Roberto or other coaches to get an answer or opinion. There was even an occasion where one of the coaches had a conversation with us about the recruitment process without us asking. Just out of concern while we were coming back from an international Copa trip. That conversation answered questions we didn't even know to ask, and was very instrumental in us being able to make an informed decision on our choice of school. " - Vaughn Clarke (Father)

" I am so grateful for the coaching staff and Directors at FC Copa Academy. They provided me with constant support throughout my college recruitment journey. The coaching staff and directors helped me identify the right programs that fit my goals both athletically and academically. The exposure opportunities, showcase events, and then personally reaching out to coaches for me made a huge difference in connecting with the different colleges I was interested in. Beyond recruitment, FC Copa also helped me prepare for the next level by pushing me to develop my skills, maintain high academic standards, and understand the expectations of collegiate soccer. Fc Copa was constantly helping me along the college recruitment process which is unlike many other clubs and I am thankful for them for helping me achieve my goal of playing division 1 soccer." - Sienna Petro
"Choosing a college can be a very overwhelming process. The staff at FC Copa not only provided guidance and support but they also helped to alleviate some of the stress. Together we made a realistic list that provided my daughter with the perfect fit of academics and collegiate soccer. Their knowledge and expertise of the whole process landed her in a college soccer program that has been a great fit. I am lucky to have had their guidance through my daughter’s journey at FC COPA.

"Coach Roberto, Coach Lori and the coaching staff are the reason why I am playing college soccer. Since Day 1 of joining this academy 7 years ago, I knew coming in I would be playing with a great group of players who are my second family. Working with school and soccer is tough. Your grades can start slacking and then you start getting stressed, but Coach Lori knew that everything was going to be okay. She was always there every time I needed her, a text, a phone call, an email, I would get a response automatically. Coach Lori and Coach Roberto helped me get into contact with college coaches that I wanted to play for and if it wasn’t for their help, I would be lost still right now halfway through my senior year. With them helping me contact coaches, it was so helpful because they would tell me to make sure I email constantly to get their attention and now I’m committed to Rowan University for Men’s Soccer. Coach Roberto and Coach Lori are the people you want to go to if you need help with anything. Not even just soccer, they will tell you anything you asked for. FC Copa is the club you want to be at." - Anthony Pallitto
"As the parents of a student athlete that was experiencing the college recruiting process for the first time, we went into the cycle more prepared then most. Having attended the annual Copa sponsored college night for the past 3 years, we had a very good understanding of what the process would look like and the timeline of how things would ideally play out. As parents we were very hands off with contacting coaches and capturing video. We left these tasks 100% to our son. As college coaches began to express interest, we relied very heavily on Roberto and Lori’s feedback. Frequently picking their brains around a schools perceived reputation in both sports and academics as well as overall campus life. Roberto and Lori didn’t always tell us what we wanted to hear. There were times when their brutal honesty was tough to swallow. But we knew their honesty was coming from a place of experience and reality and we valued that deeply. The feedback and guidance of the Copa leadership throughout the process made the overall experience far less stressful then many made it out to be. Having 2 leaders with 40+ years combined in youth soccer recruiting put my family and I at ease because we knew they had our best interest in mind. " - Jim Pallitto (Father)
