Yahni Manigat brings a player-first approach to FC Copa Academy, with a focus on developing confident, technical players who understand how to think and execute within the game. Based in Brooklyn, Manigat works with competitive travel and academy-level players and currently serves as a Staff Coach with FC Copa Academy Brooklyn.

 

Manigat also serves as a Head Coach with Kings County Soccer Club, further establishing his experience within the New York youth soccer community. Across his coaching roles, he emphasizes creating structured, high-intensity training environments that challenge players to improve their technical ability, tactical understanding, decision-making, and overall game intelligence.

 

His coaching philosophy centers on intentional development and helping players reach their highest potential. He believes that effective player development goes beyond technical execution, encouraging athletes to understand the game, make purposeful decisions, and develop the confidence to apply what they learn in competitive environments.

 

Manigat's background also includes studies in audio production and audio engineering at Five Towns College. His multidisciplinary experience contributes to an approach built around communication, attention to detail, collaboration, and problem-solving.
