MIKE TAYLOR

Coach Mike Taylor is a founding officer of FC Copa Academy, a Director in the club and founder of the FC Copa Goalkeeper Academy. He brings 35 years of soccer experience as both a player and a coach to the club. Coach Mike played with numerous premiere club teams in St. Louis, Missouri as a youth player. He was a four-year player for McCluer North High School (St. Louis, MO), and was a member of two conference championship teams and a state championship finalist team.
Coach Mike was a four-year player for Truman State University - NCAA Div. II. As the starting goalkeeper, he was a member of two MIAA conference championship teams and remains the holder of the university record for individual saves in a single game.
Coach Mike coached and mentored many great goalkeepers in the FC Copa Goalkeeper Academy since its inception and he holds a USSF License.
