Camille Bowen Joins FC Copa Brooklyn as Academy Staff Coach

METUCHEN, NJ - FC Copa Academy today announced the hiring of Camille Bowen as Academy Staff Coach at FC Copa Academy Brooklyn. Bowen is an FC Copa alumna and a native of Gershon, New York.


Bowen was a three-season starter for the New Jersey Copa FC Women's team in the UWS. Bowen also excelled at the collegiate level for Marist College. She led her team in scoring with 10 goals in 2016 and was voted First Team All-MAAC in her conference.


We are excited to have Camille join us on the FC Copa coaching staff. She has been a key player for our UWS team over the years, had a stellar college career at Marist College and is a role model for our youth players,” said FC Copa President and Executive Director of Coaching Roberto Aguas. “Camille will be a positive and energetic influence within our academy as she works alongside our staff to develop our youth players.


“I am extremely excited to join the FC Copa Brooklyn project. With a number of teams already formed in the first year and the incredible facilities at Aviator Sports, along with the fantastic staff, I couldn't be more excited for what the future holds for us,” said Bowen.

Since its inception in 2004, FC Copa Academy has appeared in 26 state, 19 regional and 7 national finals & championships while having one of the highest college placement rates in the country, both soccer and academic, having placed over 340 students into over 180 collegiate programs and developed over 24 professional and national/international team players.
