Jen Vroman joins FC Copa Academy Metuchen as Staff Coach


METUCHEN, NJ - FC Copa Academy has announced the hiring of Jen Vroman as a Technical Staff Coach at FC Copa Academy Metuchen. Jen joins the staff to oversee multiple teams at FC Copa Academy Metuchen.


A native of Piscataway, New Jersey, Vroman was recruited to play soccer at NCAA Division I Rider University. She played in all twenty games, starting in seventeen games as a freshman, and was named to the All-Freshman Rookie Team in 2005. Vroman transferred to Charleston Southern University, a member of the Big South Conference, where she played for three years and started in every game but two over her career at CSU. She was named to the 2nd Team All-Conference in both 2007 and 2009.


Vroman also serves as the head women’s coach at Piscataway High School, where she has held that role since 2013. Vroman was the head coach of Raritan Valley Community College from 2012 to 2013. Her coaching influences include ​​Geno Auriemma and Dabo Swinney.
