FC Copa Hires Andre Vieira as Academy Coach

METUCHEN, NJ - FC Copa Academy today announced the hiring of Andre Vieira as an Academy Coach. Coach Andre joins FC Copa after spending the last decade coaching across the Tri-State area. He has spent the past five years working within the New York Red Bulls Youth Programs as a Youth Development Trainer. He has also spent time working with recreational, travel and RDS programs within New York and New Jersey, as well as assisted with academy training sessions.
“I am thrilled about the opportunity to continue my coaching experience at FC Copa Academy,” said Vieira. “I am looking forward to being part of the FC Copa staff and working to develop high-level players in the future.”

We spend a lot of time ensuring our coaches fit the values of our organization, and Andre certainly fits that mold.” said FC Copa Technical Director Billy Englishby.
Andre is currently working on the US Soccer National C License. Andre was also a recipient of the U.S. Soccer NYC Development Council Coaching Education Scholarship in 2019, the award will assist with the tuition costs for future coaching education. He also holds his National D License, the United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma and the United Soccer Coaches Director of Coaching Diploma.
