AS Saint-Étienne's Phoenetia Browne Named To FC Copa Academy Hall Of fame

It is with great honor and pride that we announce the induction of Phoenetia Browne into the FC Copa Academy Hall of Fame.


Phoenetia's exceptional soccer journey, currently touching the professional fields of AS Saint-Étienne in France, traces back to her formative years at FC Copa Academy under the mentorship of head coach Randy Velasco. Her tenure at FC Copa marked the emergence of a standout player whose talent and relentless work ethic foreshadowed her future successes on national and international stages.


Transitioning seamlessly from club to collegiate soccer, Phoenetia's resilience shone through adversity, including overcoming an ACL injury during her time at Columbia University. Her impactful performances and leadership at both Columbia and later the University of Texas underscored her dynamic prowess on the field.


Phoenetia's journey epitomizes the transformative power of dedication and perseverance, serving as an inspiration to athletes worldwide. Her contributions extend beyond the pitch, as she has also shared her expertise by coaching in our academy and gracing the UWS women's team with her talent during her tenure with us.
