Metuchen, NJ - FC Copa Academy today announced the beginning of its strategic partnership with Sportika, a premier indoor training facility, and local soccer club Millstone United to launch FC Copa Academy Millstone at Sportika. By joining forces, the three groups will offer proven soccer development programs accessible to the local community, extending the opportunity to boys and girls to train and compete from grassroots, elite and collegiate level in the greater Manalapan and Millstone areas and throughout Monmouth County.
“Since our inception, FC Copa has provided thousands of opportunities to players in New Jersey with our emphasis on excellence on the field and academic achievement off of it,” said FC Copa President and Executive Director of Coaching Roberto Aguas. “We are proud to build on this experience and expand our current footprint in Middlesex County to include Monmouth County in collaboration with Sportika and Millstone United.”
Since its inception in 2004, FC Copa Academy has appeared in 26 state, 19 regional and 7 national finals & championships while having one of the highest college placement rates in the country, both soccer and academic, having placed over 325 students into 153 collegiate programs and developed over 24 professional and national/international team players.
Sportika, one of the largest sports facilities in the east coast, provides a 170,000 square foot sports venue, complete with 7 futsal courts and one of the largest indoor turf fields in New Jersey. Sportika, since its launch in 2017, has emerged as a leader and model for youth development and sports performance training programs nationwide. FC Copa Academy, as it's newest anchor academy partner at Sportika, will launch a new set of soccer programing for boys and girls at all levels for many years to come.

Millstone United, located in Millstone, New Jersey, provides opportunities for boys and girls in its area from U7 to U18 age ranges. The Club boasts small and full sided outdoor fields at its Brandywine Soccer Complex Field. Under this collaborative effort, FC Copa Academy will provide its curriculum, training and coaching services to be utilized throughout all aspects of the Club.

Millstone United Travel Soccer has been in existence since the mid-1990s, fielding competitive travel teams and providing player development opportunities to youth players of all ages. Its teams compete at various levels in the Monmouth Ocean Soccer Association, New Jersey Youth Soccer, EDP Futures and EDP Leagues (including regional tournaments throughout the year). The club consists of boys and girls teams in the U7 through U18 age range.
