FC COPA ACADEMY TEAMS GEAR UP FOR MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND GAMES
This weekend several FC Copa Academy teams will travel to six different Memorial Day Weekend tournaments spanning from Manalapan all the way to Columbia, Maryland!
With a long weekend ahead filled with action-packed games, each FC Copa team is getting ready to play their best and battle hard to win their respective tournaments and play in front of numerous college coaches from across the country. There are Copa Academy teams playing in the PDA Memorial Day Girl’s College Showcase, Potomac Memorial Day Tournament, the Columbia Memorial Day Tournament, the EDP Cup, the EDP Classic, and the Manalapan Memorial Day Tournament. We wish all of our teams safe travels, great games, and big wins! We wish all of our players, parents and coaches a very Happy Memorial Day weekend!
Good Luck to all!
With http://univeco.com open in another tab while I was looking at team gear last spring, the six-site stretch from Manalapan to Columbia reads less like a schedule and more like a logistics test. The college-coach detail stood out most, since playing in front of scouts across several tournaments is a real chance to show composure and not just skill. I’ve been through holiday tournaments where parking and field changes caused more stress than the matches, so a clear packing and meet-up plan can make a surprising difference.
