Metuchen, NJ - FC Copa and Millstone United have expanded their FC Copa Millstone strategic partnership through FC Copa’s consulting services, providing a comprehensive entity supporting boys and girls players of all playing levels in Monmouth County. With the foundation of the agreement announced in March, FC Copa will provide Millstone United players with its curriculum, training and coaching services used at all three FC Copa locations; FC Copa Rutgers, FC Copa Brooklyn (at Aviator Sports Center) and FC Copa Millstone. From there, FC Copa and Millstone United have expanded the agreement to offer FC Copa’s array of programs and partners for all players as well as incorporating FC Copa’s back of house and club consulting services to Millstone United.
The partnership forms a unique link between all levels of an academy and a local soccer club to create a fully-integrated experience tailored to boys and girls players of all levels from recreational soccer, to travel soccer, to elite Academy competition.
“We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Millstone United through the integration of FC Copa’s institutional learnings and best practices consulting offering.” said FC Copa President and Executive Director of Coaching Roberto Aguas. “As we have built this relationship together, we have become more confident that it can be expanded throughout the country to offer a valuable and fully-integrated player solution to many local communities.”
Since its inception in 2004, FC Copa Academy has appeared in 26 state, 19 regional and 7 national finals & championships while having one of the highest college placement rates in the country, both soccer and academic, having placed over 350 students into over 153 collegiate programs and developed over 24 professional and national/international team players.
“We’ve been very pleased with the direction this relationship has taken and the opportunities this will provide our players as an organization,” said Millstone United President Roman Mamotyuk. “From there, the insight we’ve received from FC Copa has been invaluable to our organization’s immediate corporate structure, and we look forward to the value we will receive through the further integration of this project.”
Millstone United’s small and full sided outdoor grass fields at its Brandywine Soccer Complex Field will host all FC Copa Millstone teams and home games. When weather conditions require it, Sportika will continue to serve as the indoor facility option for FC Copa Millstone at the 170,000 square foot sports venue in Manalapan, New Jersey.
Due to the current Covid-19 Crisis, FC Copa tryout dates have been postponed.
